"This Way!" "No, This Way!"

I found these Large Milkweed Bugs, Oncopeltus fasciatus, on, you guessed it, a swamp milkweed plant. These colorful creatures are found throughout North America, from Central America through Mexico and the Caribbean to southern Canada. Adults range from 11-12mm in length. Since they aren't dangerous to humans or pets and do negligible damage to the plants, I was content to photograph them and leave them be.
