It was good to be out with my golfing buddies on a brisk but sunny day.

The news on my aunt in France isn’t great: they did find a tumor; it was surgically removed. The procedure and meds have left her completely disoriented and talking nonsense. But the more worrisome part is that her kidneys are now failing, so there is talk of dialysis. Details are sketchy: either French doctors don’t communicate well or people there don’t know how to ask the right questions…
