Rhododendron

I planted this rhododendron a few years ago but it has been hidden from view behind a Christmas tree that got out of hand. That was taken away last year for safety reasons and so allows this shrub to flourish and be seen.

I put down my fondness for the rhododendron as a way of making up for the fact that my sister and I hacked a family rhododendron to bits nearly fifty years ago.

I love them and they turn Argyll into a riot of colour at this time of year.
