Pareidolia with rust!

Not great weather today ...... seem that the sky keeps crying! Been doing that a lot lately!

Nipped out during a dry(ish) spell to get this for Tiny Tuesday .... didn't have to go far ... just to the gate! Thanks to cathy1947 for hosting this month :-)

It is the top of the spring that closes the gate ....... it is looking a bit worse for wear but is still (more or less) working!

It has been doing this job for quite a few years so there's no surprise it's looking a tad rusty .... unfortunately there is none of the peeling paint left but I got close to the theme!

Love the fact you can see a face ....

Pareidolia ...... the perception of apparently significant patterns or recognizable images, especially faces, in random or accidental arrangements of shapes and lines:
