Crown Point Bridge

Yet more cleaning and tidying first thing, then packing an overnight bag, and MrM also loaded up the van with some of the container plants from the 'yard. By 11.30 we were ready for the couple who had come to view the flat, and also ready to jump in to the van to drive to Leeds as soon as they left.

We had hoped to be on our way by 12.15, but they stayed a little longer than anticipated, and it was past 1.25 when we set off! Never mind, they seemed to like the flat so fingers crossed.

Just in time to check in to our hotel and have a cuppa before walking to meet Tom and Lucy at a Thai restaurant for a celebratory meal - it's our wedding anniversary today, and Tom's birthday on Wednesday! Afterwards, time for a couple of drinks in a nearby hostelry before we all went our separate way. Lovely to see them both again.

Our hotel was in the centre of Leeds near the Royal Armouries, and MrM and I walked back by the river. Crown Point Bridge over the River Aire was lit up, and looked rather fine.
