Towards Cape Clear

Another murky day but not as wet as forecast. I've spent what feels like most of it lounging around at the hairdresser's in Schull and am now freshly shorn. This is the view out towards Cape Clear, not much to see today but a gentle shimmer and some sort of navigational buoy.

Tomorrow we have visitors so I may be absent. You remember Sue the House Sitter who got stuck here for 6 months during Covid - well two of her pals from New Zealand have been travelling around Ireland (via Egypt!) and are now heading towards West Cork. We shall wine and dine them and put them up tomorrow and then release them into the wild as they carry on towards Cork city. The forecast looks a bit grim to say the least but I'm sure there'll be plenty to talk about.
