Spring Fling

How fun to see two chipmunks today! I recognized Stumpy from last year, and the other I’ve named Cheeks (pictured). After playfully chasing one another here and there and everywhere, they settled in for some serious nut snacking. After filling their tummies they stuffed their cheeks with sunflower seeds then scurried across the yard to their separate dens. Each made several trips before I decided to come inside • MrsP witnessed a raven break a large branch from a tree then fly away with it in its beak. Apparently nest building is officially underway! • The puzzling madness continues!! • Some “s” is in the forecast tonight and Friday…and we don’t care!! • Peace & Love
