Coastal walk

The day started off quite wet and dull, but we stuck to our agenda of driving across to the Northumbrian coastline. We parked up in Druidage Bay and walked North along the beach to spot the cottage we spent many holidays in when the kids were young. Just as we arrived the sun broke through and it’s been a very pleasant day. We saw this plant growing all on its own in the dunes. Not certain but think it’s a pink hyacinth (at least that is what the plant detection app I just installed tells me).
