Resilient

Despite the rain (every day) and wind the cherry in our front garden is holding onto its blossom - for now. Lots of other stuff coming into flower and leaf in the garden. An azalea is flowering and a few others ready to flower. The lilac has little leaves sprouting. The weeping cherry is almost ready to flower. Lots of other things sprouting, forsythia still full of flowers and magnolia flowers showing white now. Lots of primroses still looking lovely and full of flowers. Tree peonies in bud and leaf. It's forecast more winds tomorrow so I'm hoping everything survives!
Good news re my test which turned out to be negative but due to other things and also the low iron, I'm to have a CT scan of my colon, a gastroscopy and an enema-prepped sigmoidoscopy. Oh happy days! I've had all three of these before (some time back) and don't have any pleasant memories of them. still, it's good to know I'm getting these and soon.
Terry has had an advert for his landlord in the shop window re letting the premises once he's gone and with the landlord's phone number. Today, the landlord asked Terry to take his phone number off the advert becasue lots of people had been ringing him to ask about getting their pictures framed and even when he said he was only the landlord, they were still persistent, asking did he think Terry would do a couple of them before he leaves! When Ian said no, one asked him how he knew! Ian said "Because he has no tools or equipment left." Mither!
