Pretty in pink. And blue

Several clumps of Pulmonaria officinalis growing in my garden is such a cheerful sight.
The magical colour transition in the flowers is typical of this lovely plant group (think Borage) and indicates to insects that the flower has been pollinated. Known as lungwort, in traditional medicine it was used for lung conditions, based on the shape and markings of the leaves.

It’s been a lovely day, I’ve been weeding and planting and loving the warmth - 17C in Cambridgeshire.
