Lost in translation

I don't know if this was done by mistake or on purpose as a joke. I suspect the first as a Google translation. But it's certainly a funny one.

This was the price tag for birdhouses.

Linnunpönttö => Birdhouse
Pönttö is also a word that in Finnish language we can use of a toilet, but it's not an official word so to say. Pönttö can also be a stupid person in slang.

Tiasille => for tits
They've use the Finnish word and just made a plural of it as it was the word used in English for the same bird.

This sign has been amusing for a quite a while today. I saw it in a flee market in Orimattila. It's the neighboring  countryside city near us. There's this big old wool factory that has been transformed to a place of business to many small companies and flee markets and such. There's also a tent hotel upstairs. Quite a fabulous idea. They've built 11 "tents" on the 4th floor of the wool factory. The only downside is that the bathrooms and the showers are shared. Otherwise I'd try it out.

But I guess birds could use toilets too :-)
