Another Pleasant Valley Sunday

Another lovely day and what a difference it makes to the spirit. It's been nice this weekend to get things done like a first cut of the grass although I was careful to avoid the primroses that are growing in parts of the lawn.

This evening the light was looking good. I went to Ashcombe and stopped where I could look dow on the little church dedicated to St Nectan. The low sun was lighting up the tower and the field that leads down to the churchyard. A few shots and my job iss done. I didn't see it at the time but there's a cock pheasant at the left hand edge of the field. You might see it if you go large (which is always a good idea).
