There was a lot of heavy rain overnight here and, according to the Met Office app at Harborough Rocks too, but I met Fi at the parking at 10am and we walked up to have a look at the rock. It wasn't wet exactly, but as the sun was due to appear in an hour we thought we'd have a walk while waiting and did 4 miles circling round to Brassington and back. Then to the crag for a couple of routes.

Fi has been out of action since October, as far as climbing is concerned anyway, due to her developing tennis elbow on both sides and today's outing was to gently test her recovery.

The top photo is of Brassington village as we walked down, the other two are of Fi, taken before she'd put any gear in obviously since I was belaying!

I'm watching David Attenborough's Wild Isles episode which contains stunning film of wild salmon journeying upstream to mate.
