Living my dream

Buried

Bean selected a windfall peach from beneath the tree and lay down to eat it.

Once she’d finished it she carefully chose another one.  I assumed she’d eat it. In fact she carried to  another tree where she scraped a hole. There she gently placed the precious fruit and using her nose, she buried it.

I have never seen a dog bury a peach before.

She bounced over to me once she was satisfied it was properly hidden, and showed off her very mucky nose. She proceeded to rub it on my trousers. But she couldn’t get it perfectly clean.

Oh Bean…
