Hours and hours before the stars arrive...

I went to the Man Ray exhibition in London today then was walking past the Empire Leicester Square (London's cinema for premières) on my way to meet a friend when I smelled glue. In front of all these people - plus a whole lot more - a woman with a clipboard was supervising hefty men with knee pads gluing a red carpet to the pavement.

There were four Many Ray portraits that really engaged me, all involving clever use of shadow. Why is it that no exhibition, ever, has postcards of the images that I like best?

This one is much better large (press L on your keyboard).
