Canon Comma

I took the 100-500 mm into the garden intending to use it to try to capture bee-flies in flight but they were few and far between. Lovely to see hairy-footed flower bees and many of my other favourite solitary bees and hoverflies visiting the blackthorn. I swapped to the 100mm macro and and a comma butterfly took a fancy to my long lens. I've noticed before that the white of these lenses attracts insects.
