Piteadie Castle Ruins

Piteadie Castle, just outside Kirkcaldy, Fife, is the ruin of a late 15th century stone rectangular keep and courtyard fortress, probably founded by the Valance family.

I last blipped this in 2011 and since then, the grounds seem to have had a bit of a tidy-up.  Today's blip is from a slightly different angle.

Two years ago, it was on the property market for just under a quarter of a million pounds.  I have no idea if it sold, but nothing has changed in the last couple of years.

Any takers?
