Another sunny day, but no signs of butterflies on my lunchtime walk from work.

I did see four Red Kites circling low over the end of the park nearest the city centre, which brought them within a couple of hundred yards of the nest of the Leeds University peregrines. It was the crows that were trying to chase them out of town though.

St George’s Fields was quite quiet now that all the universities have broken up for Easter. I suspect I’ve blipped this monument before, but not from this side - I like the arrangement of features.
