French day!

Spring vacation is on and we had a french day, me and hubby. A french style delicious lunch in market hall best restaurant 4vuodenaikaa (please check the video in the link). And we bought fresh bread and mussells for dinner too from the market hall.

These poor mussels were yesterday freshly delivered to the best fishmonger of market hall from the North Sea via Sweden - and it seemed that many of them were dead already. Fish salesman said that maybe they had suffered lack or air on the way. We agreed that we take a load of 2kilos of mussells by half a price.

Later as I checked the mussells for dinner, I noticed that really about half of the amount was dead already (as you can see from the pic) and not usable anymore. But the rest of mussells were ok and brilliant - and we had a good french meal using butter, cream, onion, garlic and pepper and salt and mussels. Yummy!
