They're back

Spring is sprung: the newts are back. It's not a great photograph but as I tried to get closer Nigel the Nervous Newt dived down to the bottom of the pond. Meanwhile the blue tits are having a wonderful time eating the peanut butter ball I put out a few weeks ago. But, unfortunately, I never manage to photograph them. They seem to have eyes in the backs of their heads. I did laugh the other day as a magpie tried to get at the peanut butter but it just couldn't do it and kept 'falling'. It was definitely one for sorrow in his case.
