Planting More Trees

Mostly cloudy all day, some sunny spells.  Dry and light winds.  A lovely calm evening.

Day off and up early.  A morning of chores, then headed out walkies.  Popped by friend Julie's, her dad, sister Josie and lasses are staying over for a week.  We headed out with the dogs, Abbey came too.  Met mam, Laura, Shaun and Anne for lunch at the Cornerstone.  Headed down to mam's in the afternoon.  Working in the shop this evening, and a busy night of customers.  Might try a pint later.

Good Friday it has been, and I made it better by some tree planting.  I've mostly been planting local willows, birch, a larch, even a horse chestnut.  It's been spread across mam's ground, also the Dodge's neighbouring croft has let me plant more trees with them.  Fingers crossed they survive and grow well.  It takes a good eye to spot this tree, one of many.  Taken at Aith meadows, Cunningsburgh.
