See What The Boys In The Back Room Will Have...

I've spent all day in studio directing Iain Finlay MacLeod's new radio drama "Cherry Blossom Whisky Company". It's a lovely story and it'll go out on Radio 4 at the beginning of July.

Before I left tonight, I grabbed a photo of the audio team who rarely get their names in lights. Mic (centre) is on the panel, while Ross (left) is on 'spot' (i.e. managing the live sound fx) and Dave (right) creates the soundscapes. Ross and Dave were part of the team behind a recent production by our department of Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath", which has just won a Sony Silver Award (i.e. the Oscars of radio).
