Garden Blip(s)

I went to my mother’s house for an early Easter lunch. G (the Polish carer who can’t cook vegetarian food) got introduced to the classic German way to cook and serve white asparagus: Steamed, with new potatoes and hollandaise sauce.

G is unhappy at my mother’s house and won’t come back for a second time (which is okay, since my mother doesn’t seem to like her, either, and behaves unusually uncooperative with her).
Nevertheless, G had baked a delicious cheesecake for our early Easter coffee.

After I went home, I felt the need to get out and work in the garden. But I don’t suppose that two hours of weeding and potting were enough the burn off the extra calories.
