Easter Bell

Happy Easter everyone!

The weather was lovely here, so I met my friend and neighbour B for a longer walk than usual. We went to explore the nearby village of Frauenstein together, which she had only driven through but not seen properly before. So, after blipping the „Osterglocke“ (Easter bell, a traditional decoration next to the village church that’s not in this blip) we went up the steep steps to the old castle tower, and then even higher to a nearby observation tower in a wood on another hill behind the castle.

I didn’t blip the view from there, because the trees have grown higher than the tower standing between them (which made the climb up somewhat disappointing). But from just outside the wood, there’s still a lovely view over the village and Rhine valley beyond - see extra.
