Having Fun

Tywyn Festival of Light - A day of fun on the seafront and the weather was in a very good mood too :-)   Sunshine, albeit watery later.   The biggest holiday crowds here since I moved here at the end of 2019.  Live music from 2pm to 11pm, all local talent.  A few familiar faces from last night's open mic at the Magic Lantern including Jamie who nailed his song once again.   It also saw the first public outing for the Shanty Singers this year, backing the Ukeleleighs, a Uke band led by the local music guru, Leigh.   We all had a blast and the singing went well too!   Later Jane, John and Jack come to mine and we walked down to watch the lantern parade, returning for hot chocolate and easter fare.

In and around all the above I helped out a friend with end cleaning their rental cottage - king size duvet cover wrangling included! - had a nice walk with C and the Megs and attended the Easter Vigil at St David's with Mum and Chris.  It's been a full and fulfilling day .... oh and Jamie is still out with Katie enjoying the late night music :-)
