Devizes (Friday 7th April 2023)

I had some shopping to do in Devizes and Melksham, beginning by parking by the Crammer pond in Devizes, near to Morrisons. There were several swans on the Crammer including some juveniles (in Extras). Then I pulled up by the Dyehouse Lane bridge and walked down to Devizes Wharf. The Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race was taking place but while I was there I only saw one pair of canoeists row past. Whether the canalside gathering of characters in the blip were bystanders or involved in some way I couldn't tell.
Driving on towards Melksham at 1700 hr I spotted blipper Number147 and Hetty the spaniel walking from Prison Bridge on Bath Rd, but they didn't see me ;-).
