Water Droplet Photography

I was struggling today in my water droplet session as I was find that I was getting flare to the left of the image. I blocked off several of the surrounding areas to avoid reflections but I was never able to solve where this flare was coming from. I also tried lighting the droplets from front and behind which was interesting as the reflection of the droplet in the reservoir became predominant whilst the actual droplet collision itself was much darker so the overall image seems almost upside down.. It is one of these images that I have included as my blip.
