Male swan guarding the nest.

Easter Monday.

St. Hedda of Peterborough.
We are having a peaceful indoor Easter Monday, doing reading,  puzzles, online jigsaws and board games. It is raining and 12c. I may watch my DVD of Peter Rabbit in the afternoon.
The photo is of the male swan as he keeps guard over the nest where the female swan is sitting. It is beside the old dry stone wall but there is quite a lot of litter there too.
