Hackley Bay

There was a sunny start to the day which tempted Mrs CBL and I out for the first time after three rather wet and miserable days.

We headed down to the Forvie Nature Reserve and walked south through the heathland to a hidden gem of a beach, Hackley Bay.  Before we descended the path to the beach we had coffees and Raspberry Oaties (they were so fine!) at a vantage point which overlooks the beach facing south (first extra).

We enjoyed a wander round down there before climbing back up and taking the path back to the car park.
