Venice from higher up

Today we did the St. Mark’s Campanile Bell Tower with its wonderful panoramic views. The main scene is the Salute church and the Dogana.

In the extras take a look up the 100 yards height of the tower, before boarding the lift to the top. The amazing waist coat from the 1700s was on display at Museum Palazzo Mocenigo. Finally a quick visit to the nearby Palazzo Ca’ Pessaro. It is a Modern Art Museum, and a female portrait by Donghi that really caught my eye. They also had Rodin sculptures and much more.

I posted my Blip for yesterday at the same time as this one.
