Signs of life

For my blip today, I decided to go down to the third floor terrace to see what might be showing sines of life.  I wanted something small, since this is Tiny Tuesday, so I decided on this rose bush, where new leaves and shoots are starting to grow.  I'm hoping that this will turn out to be an early rose, so there will be actual flowers soon.

The mobile library was here this morning and then I enjoyed an hour on the phone with Gena and Terri.  Still feeling weak, so I didn't do any more work on the chili or anything else.  I've got a pick-up order tomorrow that includes beans I thought I already had on hand and some fresh ground turkey.  I should be able to finish the chili by end of day.  Fingers crossed.
