Hang Down Your Head...

These little buds have nothing to be coy or ashamed about. In a few days they will lift up glorious bright red and black petals to the sun.

They are some Poppies called "Ladybird" that I bought at the weekend. This is as close-up as I can take with my camera, I'll be glad when my new one arrives.
