Little Gun's OK!

Another fine day, though a bit cooler and quite windy. And another spent mostly outside. The garlic mustard was consigned to the compost bin along with others evicted from around the chestnut tree where we have elected to create a small flower garden to complement the primula and bluebells we found there. We plan to use some of our recently acquired stones to encircle the area. Nearby, we are pleased to report that our little gunnera is doing fine. The leaf stems that had emerged under cover before being planted out in early April have all withered away. You can just see the remains of the one photographed previously at the top of this fresh leaf. And another is growing to keep it company. We are much relieved!
