Tall pines

View on one of our regular walks by the edge of the Southern walkway. It's a favourite spot for Maisie to collect pinecones (well I should say pinecone singular: she brings one home on most walks) and on a quiet morning we hear lions and monkeys in the zoo, which is behind us as we head this way. This photo was shot in the afternoon though. Lovely and mild and surprisingly no wind today.
