Wanderings & Witterings

Back Blip

One of the reasons - albeit one down the pecking order of importance - for my trip to the environs of Dundee was to see Falkirk play Montrose at Links Park on Tuesday evening.

When the game kicked off it was dry but with a cold, blustery wind. However, the heavy rain and strengthening winds that were forecast arrived shortly before half-time. Thankfully, Falkirk had established a two-goal lead by then, both goals, including the one in today's Blip, being scored by Kai Kennedy. In the second half, Montrose had the advantage of the weather conditions and created a number of chances but only scored the one goal. Another three points for the Bairns.

It was a pretty miserable drive home in the wind and rain, and I was glad that I was only going as far as the outskirts of Dundee on this occasion.
