Wound up in Wexford

Instant woodland

D delivered and planted 15 trees today.  He also brought 8 shrubs which are in pots, and await our efforts.  We instantly, and with minimal effort on our part, have a garden woodland!  On the whole, the trees were a little more mature than the ones we planted in Norfolk, so hopefully we'll have a decent showing within a couple of years.

Even today (with acknowledgement to W, whose idea it was to take a photo from upstairs) the 1st extra shows us that we now have a garden, rather than a field!

We had spent the first couple of hours with the mowers, as the grass in the area was quite long.  We didn't quite finish before D arrived, but W did more this evening.

The sunset last night (2nd extra) was a presage for the weather today, which was a huge contrast to yesterday - still a chilly wind, though much less strong than the gale we suffered yesterday.  And we had sun - quite a lot of it.

Edit - extras now combined as a collage
