Today's the day ........................ to make bread

It didn't matter that the weather outside was dire this morning because there was an intensive bread-making workshop going on in the kitchen, that took everyone's concentration.  And it eventually resulted in two spectacularly successful loaves - so that was good.

By the afternoon, the weather had brightened up.  There was just enough time for us to take the girls to Threave Castle Nature Reserve for a look at the ospreys (see extra) - before we returned them back home, after their brief stay with us ...........
