les vaches

Olga had us working hard again at our French lesson this morning. We took (most of) the DELF A2 exam. M had had enough after a while, so we'll finish the oral part next time!

Alice again took her letter, tin and small cat toy to school. She came home and said that Benjamin wanted her to write to the King Cat to ask if he could have a toy the same, as he also loves cats! Oh dear J, what have you started?!

This afternoon was shopping, studying and website stuff, whilst M finished up the inputting for the exam timetable.

Yesterday at the discussion group, someone mentioned a place to add to my "to do" list before we leave. I don't know if we're going to fit them all in, but it will be fun trying. I guess we have to wait until the summer holidays for most of them. Alice's school breaks up on 3 July.

Alice had her class and school photograph today. That will be a lovely keepsake. She says when we get the photo, we will have to try and "spot the cat". Yes, she managed to sneak her new little toy cat into the photo, and she says she's in the front row (she would be - she's the youngest of all 50 children at the school).

This is some of the cows at one of the village farms that we pass on our way to and from school. Cows come in all colours here - well, in varying colours of white, cream, brown and black anyway.
