Our Day

We were making great progress this morning to leave earlier than usual. But then Chase returned from the bus stop. I guess the pick up time has changed slightly. He was there early but the bus must have gotten there even earlier. Oh well, it only added an hour to our departure. I added to the delay when I decided to get photos of my lilacs and one azalea that is in bloom. They will be spent when we return. During the trip, hubby got very tired and had to stop and rest a few times. Our agreement is that he will stop as soon as he starts to get drowsy. The redbuds are simply gorgeous this year (second row, far right.). They are especially pretty when in clusters and we saw several along our route. Otherwise, I tried to capture the budding trees, green pastures, lovely clouds in a bright blue sky and picturesque mountains. Hope you enjoy the sights. We made two stops for groceries and grabbed a Chipotle bowl for a quick lunch. We are almost in PA and then will go back into WV for the final leg of the trip. We should be at the farm by 6:30. Traffic has been heavy at times but you expect that on a Friday. Sure hope you have wonderful plans for your weekend.
