Queen Bee For The King

As I've set myself the challenge of blipping items featured in the Coronation Invitation I was pleased to find this, rather sluggish, buff-tailed bumble bee. It could be a queen but I'm not sure.

For me the obvious symbolism relating to bees is of industry/hard work - the busy bee. I've read that the bumblebee is known as a symbol for communication, abundance and fruitfulness, which could be a nod to values King Charles holds dear during his reign. Also dedication to the environment and the coming of spring. Bees also represent the afterlife, wisdom and rebirth.

In the Invitation the bee is above a unicorn and below three bluebell blooms - three for Charles III.
