Castle and a coot

Yesterday I saw a group of swallows flying around the house, the firt of the year.

F and I went for a walk around the village late afternoon, it had been grey and wet all day  The memory card in my camera decided to pack up - I'm not having much luck with cameras recently!  I took a very underwhelming photo of the castle with my phone.  There's another coot's nest on the moat, hopefully more chicks to watch out for!
