Finally..

We'd been in Herbeumont for a couple of days but still hadn't been up to the Château Fort on the hill behind us - so - today was the day! The views were still hazy so I concentrated on the walls - & the plants on them.

The Château was built in the mid 13th century & survived until the 17th, despite many attacks. It's now being preserved as one of the main attractions in the area, and on a clear day allows amazing views over the Semois valley & meanders.
