Blackbird ( Turdus merula )

Another lazy blip.  The blackbirds forage over the grass and I caught the male busily searching for food.

A species which fortunately is doing well.  The ringing recoveries are interesting birds rung in UK have been found in Finland, right down the countries as fas as Gibraltar, it is another species which doesn't particularly migrate.
