Rowing Boats launched!

Today was the day - the Edinburgh Union Canal Society launched our two, newly refurbished, traditional rowing boats ...

... photo shows them just a few minutes after we took them out of the Boathouse and returned them to the Union Canal - and am pleased to report that all 6 hiring-slots were taken up, and the feedback was universally positive :-)

First time, in over a decade, that traditional rowing boats have been hired-out, along this stretch of the canal ... and they will now be available every Sunday afternoon - right through until September :-))
