A bit bigger than usual!

Well it certainly is  a very different feeling working on a painting that is
3' x 3'. My easel isn't really built for this size of painting so to be able to reach the bottom i have to move it around.   This isn't a big problem really....cos i always rotate my paintings for the first 3-4 layers, before i settle on which way is up!

I just love this stage...'reckless abandon' is what one artist calls it...and it really is an exciting stage.   But like most paintings at this stage, there comes a time when i have to stop because mud will start to form when there is a lot of paint on it. 

Very foggy day here today, but milder!
