Renewal

Through to Glasgow this morning to see Colin Gray’s exhibition at Street Level before it came down. We had an unplanned tour of West Lothian on the way, the bus detouring after a motorway closure, but it’s a double-decker bus these days, we were upstairs and we weren’t in any rush so that was fine. I really don’t know my way around Glasgow so I just played tourist and followed S; Buchanan St gallery, Street Level, Merchant City then along to the CCA where we’d planned to grab some lunch but moved on at the behest of folk picketing their café (they’ve sacked their staff after they joined a union and got better working conditions - nice eh?), so Vietnamese instead, a good choice. Boy but Sauchiehall St is run down these days though, a big surprise and not a good one.
Tenpin tonight and we’re back in winning ways. I’m a happy chappie.
