Victoria Embankment Gardens

I went for a guided walk of Victoria Embankment Gardens this afternoon with a social historian who explained all the public monuments to us.  It is full of large statues of worthy Victorian gentlemen not all of whom are still well known.

Apart from the cold wind, the weather was glorious, and Westminster Parks Department were out in force making the gardens look wonderful.

I am also using it as practice for a Royal Photographic Society Landscape Group project that I am taking part in.  We are producing postcards of our home areas.
