Noup Head

A cycle through Westray up to Noup Head.Migrants have been coming through- saw my first 3 swallows of the spring today, and up to 7 wheatear, 2 great skua, a brambling, 290+ golden plover etc. A blurry ruff is the extra.
Near the lighthouse a visitor engaged me in conversation and it turns out that this meant I did not notice about 6 dolphins pass the cliffs! By the time I'd moved on and been told by a couple about the dolphins, they were a couple of miles north of the head, so in that blue water beyond the lighthouse. I saw some jumping but too far for an ID.
