Dahlia

Today's walk in Sydney Park cleared some cobwebs. While the community garden was low on veggies, the flower section had some beautiful specimens including echinacea, exotic daisies, marigolds and salvia, but the dahlias won out. They are an entrancing purple-red colour which my photo hasn't exactly captured and I love their hanging habit.

The briefest of showers left me all but dry and just sprinkled the dahlia bud.
