Bluebells

I read an article today on using multiple exposures and ICM  (intentional camera movement) to create abstract botanical images, and I just  wanted to give it a try. Coincidently,  Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge is "Movement / Motion", and we are also heading into the UK Bluebell season.  So there was no excuse for not heading over to the National Trust's Hatchlands Park to play.

The bluebells in the ancient Little Wix Wood on the estate still need a few days of spring sunshine to reach their peak, but there were more than enough around to get that sense of a carpet of blue.

This shot was the best using the technique. It is a double exposure with ICM for both images used for the final in-camera shot.
